Product Review – Melt Cosmetics

Even though cannabis culture is still largely stigmatized, it continues to serve as inspiration in some unlikely places. Case-in-point: Melt Cosmetics.

Melt Cosmetics pinged our stoner sonar (we should copyright that) when we learned about their “Smoke Sessions” palette. Featuring eight, weed-inspired shades imprinted with a cannabis leaf, this palette has turned out to be a real treat!

More than a gimmick, each color in the set is layerable, soft, and infinitely blendable. The shades range from the gentle to the dramatic, offering glittery and matte shades of rich gold and green.

We also decided to try a couple of their complementing products like their gel liner in the color “Spliff“, and a liquid lipstick in “Toke“. The quality of all the products we’ve tried is some of the best we’ve experienced, featuring long-lasting wear and smooth application.

The pricing is very reasonable for the high level of quality, and we are considering adding their “Mary Jane” and “Four Twenty” eyeshadow palettes to our collection, too.

Additionally, Melt Cosmetics does not test on animals, something we believe should be the standard across the industry.

If you’re looking for a fun and fashionable way to engage with cannabis culture, these products definitely have our stamp of approval.
